Family and Requested Caregivers
Did you know you could potentially get paid to take care of your loved one or friend?
In Pennsylvania, participant members in The Community Health Choices (CHC) Waiver programs can request that an agency like ours hire their qualifying family member or other requested caregiver. A requested caregiver can be someone you are already familiar and comfortable with or may already be providing care informally.
Many family members or close friends are already providing informal unpaid support services to their loved ones in an effort to keep them home as long as possible. There may also be paid outside caregivers providing this help. When clients choose CareGivers Plus to provide their approved Community Health Choices Waiver services, we have the ability to hire your trusted family member or other requested caregiver to provide your services through your CHC Waiver services.
